My kids love gum. Love. That’s not an understatement. Buzz feels as if he needs something in his mouth at all times, and so gum is an easy pacifier. Abby and Jedi like to chew, too, but there are worries that come with all that gum use. Namely, sugar.
With Jedi being type 1 diabetic, I’ve been on the hunt for a good-tasting gum that’s also sugar-free. He shouldn’t have to worry about his blood sugar rising just because he wants to chew a piece of gum like everyone else. For that, I’m so happy we were asked to try the new Orbit for Kids in their Strawberry Banana flavor. I tested a piece myself, and I can honestly say that I enjoyed the flavor.
Abby, of course, is the only one who would stay still long enough for me to take a picture. My little ham. But everyone is pleased. Including me. Because not only does Jedi have a pack of great-tasting gum that they all enjoy, but Orbit for Kids chewing gum is also an easy option to help protect kids’ teeth throughout the day when you can’t get to a toothbrush. That’s a fact I appreciate.
Do your kids floss like they’re supposed to? We’re working on it here, but I know mine don’t yet. My kids do like to brush their teeth, though. I make sure to buy them fun toothbrushes, they especially love the ones that spin. I also know it’s important for them to see me brush my own teeth like I should, too. Emulation is the best motivator!
Orbit for Kids gum is yet another great tool. I know that I won’t have any problems getting them to chew on those inbetween times. We just need to practice blowing bubbles now, because my kids need a lot of work in that area.
