Origami Heart Bouquet Card
Supplies needed:
- Cardstock – brown, green, and assorted colors
- Yarn or twine
- Glue stick
- Scissors or paper cutter
Start by cutting the heart colors of cardstock into squares.
We made ours 4×4. You can use scissors, but a paper cutter just makes it easier.
Fold each square according to the image above. Glue the front folds down.
To finish each heart, fold the top tips of the heart down. Also fold the sides back, as well. This will also give the heart a 3D effect off the card, too.
Continue for all the hearts in the bouquet.
Cut thin strips of the green cardstock.
Glue the green cardstock to the back of the heart.
Then glue the heart and stem to the brown cardstock, trimming any excess stem.
Position the rest of the hearts of the bouquet.
Finish by tying a bow with yarn or twine and glue in place across the stems.
If you apply glue only to the folded down parts of the heart and stick to the page, it gives this lovely 3D effect. So sweet!
