Paper Bag Handprint Frog Craft
It’s not easy being green. That’s what Kermit the Frog used to say. This Paper Bag Handprint Frog Craft is very green and really easy, though, and so cute, too. You’re sure to love this spring keepsake craft!
Frogs are really just kind of adorable, aren’t they, in their own kind of way? With their big blob bodies and sticky tongues. They’re fascinating, actually. And I have to say I’m quite fond of this handprint frog craft, too.
Paper Bag Handprint Frog Craft
To make this frog craft you will need brown paper lunch bags, green acrylic paint, green and red cardstock, large googly eyes, scissors, and a glue stick.
Handprint Frog Craft Step by Step Directions
Begin with a brown paper lunch bag.
Paint the entire front of the bag green. Let the paint dry completely.
While the paint is drying, trace your little one’s handprint on green cardstock. You will need two handprints for this craft.
Cut out the handprints.
Also cut out a strip from the red cardstock.
Use your fingers or a pencil to curl one end of the strip.
Now, with the bag dry, glue the handprints on the side of the bag, closer to the fold.
Cut away all the excess of the bag from under the handprints.
Next, glue the red strip under the fold of the bag.
Finally, add googly eyes, Also, use the black marker to draw two small oval shapes for nostrils.
