Paper Bag Handprint Squirrel Craft
Squirrel! Our simple yet adorable Paper Bag Handprint Squirrel Craft is so stinking cute it’s distracting, in the best possible way. You won’t be able to focus on anything else until you make this sweet fall craft. Maybe a couple of them.

A simple brown paper lunch bag and brown cardstock make the majority of this craft, while four darling handprints come together to make the bushiest of tails. Some people say squirrels aren’t cute. I beg to differ. My mom used to have a squirrel that would take food right out from her hand. That was cute. This handprint squirrel craft is definitely cute, too.

Paper Bag Fall Handprint Squirrel Craft
To make our adorable handprint squirrel craft you will need brown paper lunch bags, brown and a scrap of black cardstock, a ⅝” circle paper punch, small-medium googly eyes, scissors, and a glue stick.

Squirrel Handprint Craft Supplies Needed
- Brown paper lunch bags
- Cardstock – brown, black
- ⅝” circle paper punch
- Googly eyes, small-medium
- Scissors
- Glue stick
Paper Bag Squirrel Craft Step by Step Directions
Begin to make your handprint squirrels by tracing handprints on brown cardstock.

We used a lighter tan kind of shade, but any brown shade that’s slightly different from the brown paper bag will work. You will need 4 handprints for each tail, unless your handprints are super small. Then you may need 5.

Cut out all the handprints.

You will also need to cut a larger triangle from the same brown cardstock, and two smaller triangles for ears. The last piece needed is a small black circle nose, which we punched out with our ⅝” circle paper punch.

Now, glue one handprint coming from behind the bottom of the squirrel.

Layer the other handprints one over the other until your bushy handprint tail is up to the top of the bag.

Then, glue the large triangle to the flap of the bag, flat edge aligning with the top of the bag.

Add the circle nose at the point of the triangle.

And smaller triangle ears.

And eyes, to finish our adorable squirrel handprint craft.

You’ll definitely be loving this fall squirrel craft. So sweet and bushy and easy and… squirrel!
