Paper Bag Jellyfish Craft
What’s super colorful and lives under the sea? The jellyfish crafted in our Paper Bag Jellyfish Craft, of course! So easy to make and the perfect bright and cheery craft to get you started for summer!
We do love our yarn crafts. We also love paper bag crafts. Put the two together and we’re going to love the result! This craft is rather simple, as well, which makes it a perfect craft to work on hand/eye coordination with little ones. There’s really no way to mess it up!

For this Paper Bag Jellyfish Craft you will need a brown paper lunch bag, a single hole punch, medium/large googly eyes, scissors, and a glue stick. You will also need multicolor yarn. What we used was similar to this.
Paper Bag Jellyfish Craft
Supplies needed:
- Paper lunch bag
- Multicolor yarn
- Single hole punch
- Googly eyes, medium/large
- Glue stick
- Scissors
Begin by cutting just the flap part of the paper bag.
We cut a slight wavy edge. Also round out the top corners.
Take a hole punch and punch as many holes as you can along the bottom, cut edge.
Now snip some strands of yarn. You will need them fairly long. You can always trim at the end.
Gather a strand of yarn so it’s doubled up, with a loop. Guide the loop through a hole.
Then pull the ends of the yarn through the loop and tighten.
Continue for the rest of the holes.
Finally, glue on a pair of googly eyes.
So fun! We adore this craft and hope you will, too! Then be sure to check out more of our fun summer crafts for kids at Our Kid Things!
