Paper Leprechaun House Craft
We made this whimsical Paper Leprechaun House Craft, which comes with a Free Printable House Template, because we thought that leprechauns need a place to rest. But if you’re the other type, too, these could also easily be leprechaun traps instead. Just hang a sign that says free gold and the leprechauns will come running!
So the fun thing about the House Template that comes with our Paper Leprechaun House Craft is that after you’re done making leprechaun houses, you can then use the template to make all kinds of houses in a variety of colors. But for now, they’re leprechaun houses. And our Craft Stick Felt Leprechauns Craft and Craft Stick Leprechauns Craft are happy they have a place to stay.
To make our Paper Leprechaun House Craft you will need the house template, green, black, and brown cardstock, markers in black and metallic colors, rainbow stickers or decorations, a glue stick, and scissors.
Paper Leprechaun House Craft
Supplies needed:
- House Template
- Cardstock – green, black, brown
- Markers – black, gold, silver, metallic green
- Stickers or decorations
- Glue stick
- Scissors
Begin by printing the house template.
Line the house template up on the green cardstock. Cut out the main shape. Fold along the connecting edges.
Decorate one side of the house with the gable. Make wavy roof lines with metallic markers. Use stickers to make rainbows or draw your own rainbow as we did, clovers, gold, however you think leprechauns might decorate their home.
Also, from the black or brown cardstock, cut a door shape as well as 3 windows. Use one of the markers to draw details on the door and windows. Glue in place.
Now, wrap the cardstock around, in a square shape. Apply glue to the end tab and glue in place to secure.
Apply glue to all edges of the roof. Pinch the two flat pieces together to adhere and hold all the pieces glued together for a minute to get to stick.
Then make more leprechaun houses for more leprechaun friends! Or, leprechaun traps. Wherever your heart lies.
It’s so easy, you can make a whole leprechaun village!
