Paper Loop Corn Cob Craft

I mean, living in the midwest USA, corn is just a part of our lives and daily scenery. Peeling corn husks is a memory leftover from childhood. You can’t get through fall without a trip through a corn maze, a bite of corn chowder, and the sweet corn festivals are a yearly tradition. Why not make this darling corn cob craft a new fall must?

Fall Corn on the Cob Craft

To make this super easy corn cob craft you will first need our corn cob template.

Craft supplies needed.

You will also need green and yellow construction paper, scissors, and glue. A simple fall craft with only 4 supplies!

Paper Fall Corn Craft Supplies Needed

Corn Paper Loop Craft Step by Step Directions

Begin by printing the corn template.

Template pieces cut.
Bottom green husk.

Cut out the template pieces. Trace the corn shape to yellow paper and cut out. Cut the other two husk pieces on green paper and cut them out.

Paper strips.

Now, cut small trips of yellow paper.

Bring ends together and glue in a loop

Bring the ends of the yellow paper together and glue. Make many of these to cover the yellow paper corn template. 

Glue loops to corn starting at bottom.

Once you have enough loops, attach the paper loops to the yellow paper one by one, starting at the bottom. 

Glue corn to green husks.

Next, glue the yellow corn to the green paper husk. 

Snip strips in bottom husk.
Curl strips of bottom husk.

Finally, snip strips to the half circle green husk, going about halfway down. Roll the strips using a pencil or scissors. 

Curl ends of bottom husk.

Glue this piece to the bottom of the yellow paper corn and your super sweet, so easy corn cob craft is complete!
