Make a Frame with a Paper Plate Apple Craft
To make our back to school Paper Plate Apple Frame you will need paper plate, red acrylic paint, brown and green cardstock, scissors, tape, and a glue stick.
You will also need a black marker to write the year. And, of course, the darling first day back to school picture.
Paper Plate Apple Frame Craft Supplies Needed
- Paper plate
- Red acrylic paint
- Cardstock – brown, green
- Black marker
- Glue stick
Back to School Apple Craft Step by Step Directions
Begin with a white paper plate.
Paint the paper plate red. Let dry.
Cut a circle from the center of the plate to fit a 4×6 photo.
Now, adhere the photo to the back of the plate with tape. Don’t worry if you’ve made the circle too big, simply adhere a piece of red paper as a background.
Next, cut a simple rectangle stem from the brown cardstock and a leaf from the green.
Glue the stem and leaf in place at the top of the apple.
Finally, write the year on the bottom of the apple.
How absolutely adorable, right?! Such a sweet back to school keepsake!
