Paper Plate Cardboard Roll Lighthouse Craft
This Paper Plate Cardboard Roll Lighthouse Craft is part paint project, part recycled craft using common household items that would normally be tossed. Combined, it creates a beautiful summery, sunny scene.
There’s something just so stunning about a lighthouse. How it guides the way. Along with the crashing waves and happy sunshine, it all comes together to make quite the serene and lovely sight on the beach.

Paper Plate Cardboard Roll Lighthouse Step by Step Directions
Begin by painting the paper plate scene.
Paint the bottom of the paper plate brown, this will be the ground.
Then, paint a wavy sea above it in blue.
Paint the waves in a lighter blue.
Paint the sky a lighter blue, as well.
Now, paint clouds with white paint and a little sun on one side with yellow paint. Let the paint dry.
Next, cut a piece of white paper that fits around the toilet paper size cardboard roll and glue it on.
Cut 3 equal strips of red paper and glue them on the paper roll.
On brown paper, draw a semicircle, cut it out, make a cone shape and glue it on top of the roll.
With black marker, draw the door, windows and railing of the lighthouse.
Draw details on the sun and draw flying birds in the sky, too.
Finally, glue the lighthouse on the paper plate.
