Paper Plate Easter Basket Craft Supplies Needed
- Easter Eggs Coloring Page
- Paper plates
- Acrylic paint – blue, brown, purple, etc.
- Markers or other coloring supplies – many assorted colors
- Scissors
- Glue stick
Easter Basket Craft Step by Step Directions
Begin by coloring a paper plate.

We made 3 baskets and colored our plates blue, purple, and brown. Let the paint dry completely.

While the paint is drying, print the Easter eggs coloring page. Gather your coloring supplies, we chose markers so they’d be extra bright, but you could use paints, coloring pencils, crayons, paint sticks, you name it.

Continue coloring until all eggs are filled in.

Cut out the eggs.

Now, when the plates are dry, have an adult carefully insert a pair of pointy scissors in the paper plate. Cut out half the inside of the plate.

Then, use a marker close to the same color as the plate to draw some hatch marks.

Finally, all that’s left is to glue your eggs in place to the basket!

Such a sweet Easter craft that really gets the creativity flowing!
