Paper Plate Handprint Raccoon Craft
This Paper Plate Handprint Raccoon Craft is a super simple and fun preschool craft that needs only a few steps to complete. Simply paint a paper plate gray, trace and add handprints for the mask of the eyes, then draw in a super simple nose and mouth.

We made this handprint raccoon as a fun craft for fall, but it would also be a great craft to pair with The Kissing Hand as the kids head back to school. For whatever occasion you choose to make this craft, it’s sure to be a fun project to complete and a sweet keepsake.

Handprint Raccoon Paper Plate Fall Craft
To make our easy handprint raccoon, you will need paper plates, gray acrylic paint, black cardstock, medium sized googly eyes, a black marker, a glue stick, and scissors.

Handprint Raccoon Craft Supplies Needed
- Paper plates
- Gray acrylic paint
- Black cardstock
- Black marker
- Googly eyes, medium sized
- Scissors
- Glue stick
Paper Plate Raccoon Craft Step by Step Directions
Begin by painting a paper plate gray.

Let the paint dry completely.

While the paint is drying, trace and cut out two handprints from black cardstock.


Once the paint is completely dry, glue the handprints on either side of the paper plate, somewhere towards the middle of the plate. Glue with the fingers pointing out.

Now, glue googly eyes on the handprints.

Finally, draw and fill in a simple nose and mouth with the black marker.

Such a cute and sweet craft, perfect for the fall season or back to school!
