It also uses those little fingerprints to make the suckers on the tentacles, making it super sweet, too.

Paper Plate Octopus Streamer Craft

Octopus Streamer Paper Plate Craft Supplies Needed
- Paper plates
- Acrylic paint – white, your colors of choice
- Crepe paper streamers – colors of choice
- Googly eyes, large
- Scissors
- Glue stick
Fingerprint Octopus Craft Step by Step Directions
Begin by painting a paper plate in the color of your choice. We chose pink and blue for ours, purple is a standard color for an octopus, too.

Let the paint dry completely.

When the paint is dry, add two large googly eyes towards the bottom of the plate.

Now, cut 8 strips of crepe paper streamers in your color of choice for the octopus tentacles. You can make these any length you’d like. Flip the plate over and begin gluing the 8 tentacles along the bottom edge of the plate.

Continue gluing the crepe paper tentacles until all 8 are in place.

Finally, dip your finger in white paint.

Begin making fingerprints along the tentacles.

All that’s left is to let the fingerprints dry completely and you have a super cute ocean octopus craft, with wavy, mesmerizing tentacles.
