We always try to do what’s best for our pets. They’re important members of the family and deserve the same amount of care and attention. Our dog is a little dog, but he has big demands. His favorite foods, a regular groom, a daily hike. It’s all a part of the life.
When it comes to his favorite food, we make sure to stock up on new Kibbles ‘N Bits® Bacon and Steak Flavor Dry Dog Food at Dollar General.
Easily available in the pet section with the other varieties of Kibbles ‘N Bits® dry dog foods available at Dollar General, Kibbles ‘N Bits® Bacon and Steak Flavor Dry Dog Food has dog-approved flavors of bacon and steak in every bite.
Now, I have to admit, my dog is extremely picky when it comes to dog food. He’d usually rather eat the cat’s food than a bowl of his own. Not a bowl of Kibbles ‘N Bits® Bacon and Steak Flavor Dry Dog Food, though. He eats every bite! This is a winner!
They’re hearty, bite-sized morsels that are packed with flavor. Both chewy and crunchy, to make it more interesting as he eats, it’s balanced nutrition with real meat that I can feel good about giving our pup. Because our pup isn’t really a pup anymore. He’s getting older, and needs food that’s best for him. Judging by the lip licks and happy chomps when his bowl gets filled, I think he’s just enjoying this bag of Kibbles ‘N Bits for the bacon and steak, though.
I can feel good about giving him Kibbles ‘N Bits® Bacon and Steak Flavor Dry Dog Food, too, because it’s 100% complete and balanced for adult dogs. And he loves the signature bits made with real meat.
And while sometimes you win, like finding a food he’ll actually eat, sometimes you don’t. Like when we tried to trim his toenails only to wind up cutting just a bit too much. It was not a pleasant experience for any of us. It did, however, remind me that we need to put together a Pet First Aid Kit.
Along with a kit of supplies, I also made Important Pet Information Cards to go in our Pet First Aid Kit.
These printable cards include spaces for a picture of your pet, pet’s name, estimated date of birth, contact name, contact number, any medical issues and medications that need to be known, as well as a space for the veterinarian name and number.
These Important Pet Information Cards are great to keep in a Pet First Aid Kit, but should also be kept wherever your pet may be. Keep one in the glove compartment of the car, under a magnet on the fridge, and in your purse. Because you never know, and this way if something were to happen then your pet’s important information would be known.
What else should you keep in a Pet First Aid Kit?
- Gauze pads
- Medical tape
- Antibiotic gel
- Cotton balls and swabs
- Safety scissors
- Tweezers
- Pet Information Card
All kept in a sturdy case that can be easily accessed.
Because doing what’s best for our pets also entails being prepared for the unexpected, while enjoying every minute of today with their cuddles, their tail wags, loyalty, protection, and attention. They give so much to us, it only makes sense that we want what’s best for them.
