Put Me in the Zoo Handprint Craft
Supplies needed:
- Yellow cardstock
- Colorful small poms
- Black sharpie
- Googly eyes, small
- Glue stick
- Scissors
Begin by tracing a little one’s hand on yellow paper.
Cut out the handprint.
Also cut out a circle for the head, two small rounded triangles for ears, and 2 rounded rectangles for feet. Cut the rounded rectangles in half.
Glue a small black pom to the center of the circle.
Draw a mouth with the black marker.
Glue googly eyes in place, as well as the ears.
Glue the face to the pinky side of the handprint. The thumb of the handprint acts as the tail.
Draw toe lines on each of the feet.
Then glue the feet to the tips of the fingers.
Finally, glue colorful small poms randomly over the handprint.
Isn’t this such a darling Dr. Seuss craft? The colorful poms definitely make it a fun craft! We have many more great ideas, too, so be sure to check out all of our Dr. Seuss crafts at Our Kid Things!
