It’s amazing how a certain fragrance can make you feel at home. I know the smell of lilacs and lavender always makes me think of my mom and growing up. And now, our home has a scent all its own.

Which isn’t a bad scent, entirely. Just one that I would like to make better at times. I love the idea of wax warmers, so much so I’ve given them as gifts in the past. But with 3 chaotic, sometimes clumsy, kids in a small house and 2 animals, too, I’ve always been afraid it would get knocked over. It’s the same reason why I haven’t burned candles in 11 years.

Then, while at Walmart, I saw the AromaBreeze Home Fragrance Systems. These home fragrance systems, only available at select Walmart stores and on Walmart.com, use no heat and are safe for pets and children’s rooms. It’s a safe, clean, stylish way to fragrance any space without worry. I had to get one for myself, an early Mother’s Day present if you will, along with some Fragrance Halos.

You should read the instructions very carefully before setting up your AromaBreeze, though it’s really a piece of cake. Which, if you wanted your home to smell like cake, they actually have those scents. Simply lift the decorative canopy from the fan base. Then, place a Fragrance Halo over the light nub on the fan unit and put the canopy back on. The AromaBreeze can either be plugged in or you can use batteries for easier portability.

Switch your unit on, and let the scents take you away!

Our house still has an aroma all its own. There’s still the smell of cat food and dog breath and stinky boy feet. Those are actually scents I would never want to take away. That is home. Now, though, it’s just a little bit better.
