This is a sponsored post on behalf of the ProjeX Projecting Game Arcade. All opinions are my own.

How bored are the kids these days? Like everyone else, we’re looking for new things to do. Tablets and screens are really only entertaining for so long. We’re actually enjoying more board games and things we can do together these days. And we are having a lot of fun together with ProjeX!

ProjeX turns any room in your house into an incredible gaming arcade. The portable, battery-operated projector means there’s no need for a TV or even an outlet, just point ProjeX at a blank wall, grab a blaster and aim at the targets!

There are also 3 interchangeable slides with different targets and unique sound effects, You can either blast ducks, targets or UFOs. The blasters also target pointers so you can better tell where you’re aiming.

This is a fun game to play alone, and build up your skills. My kids really liked playing against each other, though. My son, who is used to playing shooter type video games, was amazed that he was getting beat by his sister. He really thought he’d have the winning edge on this, but she had the quicker eye. You can check the score on the LED scoring display. It was fun to watch and cheer them on!

A few tips before starting that we learned while playing. Make sure the blasters are plugged in all the way. I had a heck of a time trying to figure out why the game wasn’t working, only to realize the blasters weren’t plugged in completely. Also, the targets pop up randomly over a large area, up to 288 inch, so you need a fairly large wall to play. It was great to enjoy real-life gaming, without the limitations of a screen!
