Simple Folded Paper Angels
One of my favorite subjects, no matter the time of year, are angels. They are especially fitting during the holidays, however. And even though we’re getting close to the big day, these Simple Folded ‘Paper Angels are so easy, they’re a perfect last minute craft idea.
For our Simple Folded Paper Angels, you will first and foremost need construction paper in a variety of angelic colors. We went with plenty of whites, yellows, and oranges, though you could also use blue, purple, really any color you’d like your angels.
Aside from paper, you will also need sparkly gold pipe cleaners. Then, it’s a simple matter of scissors, a 1†hole punch, black marker or pen, clear tape, and glue or glue stick.

Supplies needed:
- construction paper, assorted colors
- sparkly gold pipe cleaners
- scissors
- 1†hole punch
- clear tape
- glue or glue stick
First, you will need to cut 2 circles from a sheet of cardstock. One circle should be slightly larger than the other. Fold one side of the circle to the middle. Fole the other side so both sides are roughly the same size and forming a rounded at the bottom triangle.
Do the same with the smaller circle. Glue all the folds in place. Then, flip the smaller circle upside down and glue to the top of the back of the larger circle.
Punch a circle from the leftover scrap paper. Draw eyes and a mouth with the pen or marker. Glue in place.
Finally, wrap the end of a pipe cleaner around your fingers. Wrap the end around pipe cleaner to secure the circle. Bend the rest of the pipe cleaner down and cut off the excess. Tape in plack on the back of the angel.
A great holiday decoration, or you could also easily alter our Simple Folded Paper Angels and make them into holiday cards with well wishes written inside the folds. Be sure to find more fun Christmas craft and recipe ideas at Our Kid Things!
