Take a bite out of Halloween, while also further introducing simple shapes, with this darling Simple Shape Handprint Dracula Craft for kids! Did I mention that it’s also a handprint keepsake? It’s a winning craft all around!
We had a lot of fun making this Halloween craft. I, personally, find it just the cutest. And it’s so simple to make, too, with a circle, triangle, and square shapes which we’ve included in our Free Printable Simple Shape Dracula Template. The only thing missing are the sweetest little handprints to make Dracula’s bow tie.
Handprint Simple Shape Dracula Craft
To make our Halloween dracula craft you will first need our simple shape template.
Then, you’ll need cardstock in purple, black, and red, medium sized googly eyes, a black marker, white paint pen, scissors, and a glue stick.
Handprint Dracula Craft Supplies Needed
- Simple Shape Template
- Cardstock – purple, black, red
- Black marker
- White paint pen
- Googly eyes, medium sized
- Scissors
- Glue stick
Dracula Craft Step by Step Directions
Begin by printing the simple shape template and cut out the pieces.
Trace the circle shape on purple cardstock and cut out. Also, trace the triangle and square shape on black cardstock and cut out.
Now, glue the triangle shape to the top of the circle.
Trim off the excess around the edges.
Add googly eyes.
Then, use a black marker to make a simple mouth. Use a white paint pen to draw two fangs.
Next, trace handprints on red cardstock.
Cut out the handprints. You will need 2 handprints for each Dracula craft.
Glue the handprints together.
Add the black square to make Dracula’s bowtie.
Finally, glue the handprint bowtie to the bottom of the circle to complete your super cute, and further informational, simple shape dracula craft.

- White paint pen
- Googly eyes, medium sized

- Glue stick
Instructions
- Begin by printing the simple shape template and cut out the pieces.
- Trace the circle shape on purple cardstock and cut out.
- Also, trace the triangle and square shape on black cardstock and cut out.
- Now, glue the triangle shape to the top of the circle.
- Trim off the excess triangle around the edges.
- Add googly eyes.
- Then, use a black marker to make a simple mouth. Use a white paint pen to draw two fangs.
- Next, trace handprints on red cardstock.
- Cut out the handprints. You will need 2 handprints for each Dracula craft.
- Glue the handprints together.
- Add the black square to make Dracula’s bowtie.
