Snowball Fight Ornament Craft
When the weather gets colder and those first flakes fall, watch your step because it’s time for a snowball fight! Our Snowball Fight Ornament Craft is the perfectly whimsical start to our winter crafting and make a great ornament on the Christmas tree, too.
Every kid loves the first sight of snow and the chance to throw a couple snowballs at their friends. The snowballs in our Snowball Fight Ornament buckets are all packed and ready to toss in the air!
To make your Winter Snowball Fight Ornament Craft you’ll need small white wedding favor pails as well as small white glittery foam balls. These make your bucket of snowballs. You’ll also need ribbon, red craft foam, scissors, and craft glue. You will need white paint and a fine tipped paint brush, too, though I’m sure you could also use an acrylic paint marker.
Snowball Fight Ornament
- small white wedding favor pails
- small white glittery foam balls
- red craft foam
- fine tipped paint brush
- white paint
- craft glue
Begin by cutting a piece of red craft foam into a rectangle or other similar sign shape.
Use a fine tipped paintbrush to paint the words “Snowball Fight†on your red craft foam sign in white.
Fill a small white wedding party favor pail with white glittery craft foam balls. These can be found at craft stores like Michaels in a multi colored package used to make garland. Alternatively, you can use cotton balls if you like. Secure the foam balls with craft glue.
Once the paint has dried on your foam sign, glue it to the front of the snowball filled pail. Tie a loop of ribbon around the handle of the pail to hang your ornament.
