Who’s done with Christmas shopping? And I don’t even mean done with the actual shopping, just done with it all in general. I’m getting to that point, when I am just done. Put me in bed and let me sleep until the holidays are over. Ho ho bah humbug.
I’m not the Grinch yet, I still have some holiday spirit bubbling inside me. But I definitely appreciate all the help I can get during these busy times. And I find a lot of that help from STOUFFER’S® family size meals at Walmart. STOUFFER’S® comes to the rescue with an easy solution to feed your family during the busy holiday season!
While at Walmart, I picked up a family size STOUFFER’S Lasagna with Meat Sauce, which is now on rollback until 12/31. A great meal and a great price!
Since the Lasagna is a stress-free meal in itself, simply put it in a 375 degree oven, all I need to worry about is a side to go with it. We love asparagus here and crescent rolls, thus it only makes sense that if you put the two together they’d be even better. And I was right! These Asparagus Crescent Rollups are amazing and so easy!
For the Asparagus Crescent Rollups, first cut the ends off your asparagus stalks. To find the best place to cut your stalks, take one stalk and snap it with your hands. Where it snaps is where the stalks are naturally more tender. Line it up with the others and cut them all to roughly the same size.
Then, roll 3 stalks of the asparagus in your crescent roll. Once they’re all rolled up, brush the tops with extra virgin olive oil. Sprinkle on shredded cheese, I used a finely shredded Italian mix, and sea salt.
Your oven should already be at 375 for the lasagna, so just put your rollups in the already preheated oven and let bake for about 10 minutes or until the rolls are browned.
A truly flavorful moment after a busy day! Now, who’s ready for some more Christmas shopping?

What a great side dish. The kids have to eat the veggies to get to all the bread…
These look so tasty! I’ve done them before with bacon around the asparagus and then wrapped in crescents but haven’t topped them. #client
Asparagus is one veggie all my kids will eat. I never do anything, but sauté it, so I really want to try this recipe!
What a yummy idea! We love asparagus! I always keep one of these lasagnas in the freezer for a quick easy dinner!
I totally think asparagus is too often overlooked as an awesome side, especially with Italian-style meals. This recipe looks delicious and so much better than the go-to green beans so many people like to pair with lasagna.
Stouffers Lasagna is my favorite and those asparagus crescent rolls look amazing!
