Straw Stamped Star Craft Supplies Needed
- Paper plate
- Acrylic paint – red, white, blue
- Marker
- Scissors
Paper Plate July 4th Craft Step by Step Directions
Begin with a regular white paper plate.
Draw a star on the back of the plate with the marker.
Have an adult carefully insert the scissors in the paper plate and cut out the star.
Now, make snips about an inch up the paper straw. Try to get as many snips as possible without cutting the strips off.
Bend the strips of the straw up. Dip in one of the paint colors, making sure every piece is covered.
Then, start stamping across the paper plate.
Continue with another of the colors. We finished with stamps of white.
Let the paint on the plate dry completely, then hang in a group for a lovely 4th of July decoration!
