One of my absolute favorite things about fall are all the colors on the trees. And so of course we had to celebrate all those colors in our Tissue Paper Fall Trees Craft!
We’ve made a few different fall tree crafts in the past, like this easy Cupcake Liner Fall Tree Craft and our Fruit Loop Fall Tree Craft. I really love this Tissue Paper Fall Trees Craft because it’s so easy to make it for every season, though. In fact, the first Tissue Paper Fall Tree we made looked much more ready for spring than autumn. And then, we made a Tissue Paper Apple Tree, too.
For our Tissue Paper Fall Trees Craft, you will need paper plates for the base of the craft. Next, a thick black or brown marker to make the bones of the tree. And fall colored tissue paper brings it all together torn and stuck in a layer of glue or Mod Podge.
Tissue Paper Fall Trees Craft
- paper plates
- tissue paper – fall colors of orange, red, yellow, green, etc
- black or brown marker
- glue or Mod Podge
First, draw the branches of the fall tree with a thick black or brown marker.
This doesn’t need to be art gallery-worthy as it most of it will be covered with tissue paper leaves.
Once the marker is dry, apply a layer of glue or Mod Podge across the branches where the leaves will go.
Begin ripping pieces of tissue paper. Crumple into a loose ball and affix to the glue randomly.
Continue with all the colors until you achieve desired look. Do the same for the apple trees, using only green and red paper.
Let glue dry completely and you have a super cute, and fun way to celebrate the season! Be sure to find more fall crafts and activities at Our Kid Things!
