Tissue Paper on Paper Plate Cat Craft
A couple months ago, a kitten came into our lives. And it’s the perfect face for this Tissue Paper on Paper Plate Cat Craft.
Fun, simple, and pretty much fool-proof, this Tissue Paper on Paper Plate Cat Craft is great for kids! I thought we did a good job, too, getting our kitten’s likeness. Put some glue down, place your tissue paper, scrunched up a bit for texture. Then, rip off what you don’t want. If you rip off what you shouldn’t have, just apply some more tissue paper.
Some googly eyes, a pink nose, and a couple glued on pipe cleaners for whiskers complete our black and white Tissue Paper on Paper Plate Cat Craft!
Tissue Paper on Paper Plate Cat Craft
Supplies needed:
- paper plate
- white and pink paper
- black tissue paper
- white pipe cleaners
- crayon, marker or pen for mouth
Cut a circle of white paper and glue in the center of your paper plate. Then, apply glue where you want your tissue paper to lay. Scrunch up the tissue paper a bit and place down. Rip off any extra. Take more tissue paper and fill in any spots until you get the design you want.
Glue triangles of white paper on the very top of the back of the plate for the ears. Bend them up if needed. Glue on googly eyes. Cut a triangle of white paper and a smaller triangle of pink. Glue together and place in the middle for the cat’s nose.
Glue pipe cleaners for whiskers. Draw on a mouth with crayon, pen or marker.
Meow! I think we did a great job!
