Leprechaun’s Beard Scissor Activity Step by Step Instructions
Begin with a toilet paper size cardboard roll.
Paint the bottom ⅔ of the roll orange. Let dry completely.
Adhere googly eyes. Self-adhesive googly eyes work best on cardboard rolls. We always seem to have a hard time getting glued eyes to stick just right on the roll.
Use the black sharpie to make simple nose and mouth shapes.
Now, cut the green cardstock into a simple hat shape to fit across the roll with a brim and smaller rectangle for the top. Also cut a smaller strip from the black cardstock and a smaller square of yellow.
Glue all the pieces together.
Then, cut two snips on the top of the roll on either side.
Slide the hat into the slits.
Finally, make cuts up the orange beard of the roll, all the way around.
And it’s time to give the leprechaun a beard trim!
Such a cute craft and so fun for practicing scissor skills, too!
