Tweetheart Birds Valentine Craft
These Tweetheart Birds Valentine Craft has a lot of heart for a Valentine’s Day craft, because they’re made with hearts! 2 hearts, to be exact. One big and one smaller for the wings.
This Tweetheart Birds Valentine Craft is such a simple craft. It’s all about cutting out a large heart and a smaller heart of a different color. Glue them together, and write a message on the inside. When you open the card for the message, it spreads its wings into a heart. A tweetheart! The fold of the heart also helps the birds stand up, which is another fun touch.
To make our Tweetheart Birds Valentine Craft you will need cardstock in red and other assorted colors, a white marker, small googly eyes, scissors, and a glue stick.

Supplies needed:
- Cardstock – red, pink, purple, yellow, etc.
- White marker
- Googly eyes, small
- Scissors
- Glue stick
Begin by cutting out the hearts.
I’m sure we all know how to cut out a heart, but fold a sheet of red cardstock in half and cut out a medium-large heart shape.
Cut a smaller heart shape out of another color for the wings.
Glue the smaller heart over the fold of the larger heart.
Fold a sheet of yellow cardstock in half and cut a triangle out at the fold so you have an open beak.
Glue the beak in place.
And the small googly eye as well.
Next, make a design on the heart wing with the white marker.
Finally, write your message on the inside of the larger heart. And your bird is ready to sing the praises of your tweetheart!
