The older kids get, the the more difficult it is to find games they enjoy. Or when they’re in an in-between age of games that are too young and easy and too old and hard. Then, if a game can get my kids up off of a chair and moving around, that’s even better.

Playing the new Skip It brought back so many memories. It was easier for me to get the hang of it since I’ve played a version of it before. My kids had a bit of a trickier time getting the timing just right, but they were thrilled when the colors glowed.
Ringz were a bit trickier. It’s geared towards girls, but since my daughter is only 4, I tested them with my 9 year old son. He’s not the most patient kid in the world, let’s just say. We never found ourselves in sync enough to win a game. But I could definitely see how this would be fun at sleepovers or birthday parties, for instance.
