DIY Foam Soap Sidewalk Paint
Everyone is beginning to focus on back to school these days, and with good reason. But there’s still some summer left! Get outside and enjoy it with this recipe for DIY Foam Soap Sidewalk Paint!

This is such a great idea to keep the kids outside enjoying the summer sun. This is such a simple process with so many fun results! It’s like an outdoor, temporary version of puffy paint. All you need is a tablespoon of Dawn dish soap, ¼ cup of water, and food coloring of your choice. Mix it up in a blender so it gets nice and foamy, then add to plastic squeeze bottles!
DIY Foam Soap Sidewalk Paint
Supplies needed:
- 1 Tbsp. Dawn Dish Soap
- ¼ cup Water
- Food Colors
- Blender
- Plastic bottles
First, mix the water, soap, and a few drops of food color in a bowl.
Pour the mixture into the blender and blend for about 30 seconds until very foamy.
Pour the mixture into one of the plastic bottles. Repeat these steps to make as many colors as you would like. Use the Foam Soap Sidewalk Paint immediately before foam settles, or shake each bottle to refoam for 30 seconds before use.
