New Year’s Slime
My daughter has been right in the middle of the slime craze this year. So it only makes sense that we would welcome in the new year with this New Year’s Slime recipe.
We’ve made all different kinds of slime. Puffy slime, butter slime, I have no idea but I know my daughter does with all the many kinds of slime. Some have had glitter, some have different dyes. It’s amazing really, how many different ways there are to make slime.
This New Year’s Slime recipe is a simple mix of silver glitter glue, baking soda, and contact solution.
With more gold glitter mixed in. Festive, sparkly, and ready to bring in the new year!
New Year’s Slime
Supplies needed:
- 6 oz silver glitter glue
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 2 tbsp gold glitter
- 1 1/2 tbsp contact solution
In a bowl, mix glue and baking soda. Add in gold glitter, mix. Mix in contact solution. Stir well, until mixture thickens.
It is helpful to work the solution into the slime with your hands, too. If your slime is too sticky or not firm enough, simply add more contact solution until it reaches a good consistency.
