One of my favorite dishes, no matter the season or time of day, is fried rice. We’ve recently moved across town, however, and I have no idea where the best pick up places are around here. No matter now, though, when I can choose from the new Ling Ling Fried Rice line of authentic dishes in the freezer section at my local grocery!
The new Ling Ling Fried Rice line comes in five unique dishes based on pure and authentic Asian inspired recipes from Japan, China, Korea and Thailand. Those recipes are: Yakitori Chicken, Yakiniku Beef, Thai-Style Chicken, Chinese-Style Vegetable, and Bibimbap Beef.
While at the grocery store, we picked up a box of Yakitori Chicken as well as a box of Yakiniku Beef. I’m sure I’ll be wanting to try the Chinese-Style Vegetable next. They’re so easy to prepare, we simply heated ours in the microwave. Which means less time over a hot stove and more time spent outside with my family during these short summer months. Such a great kitchen helper!
With clean dishes that include high quality ingredients and no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives, Ling Ling delivers superior flavor and exceptional taste. Most likely even better than take out. I was reading that they can achieve this thanks to their Infusion Cooking Method. This means that each grain of rice is infused with Ling Ling signature sauces for incredible flavor in every bite.
I admit, I usually want to douse my fried rice in soy sauce. However, I didn’t feel the need with these selections from Ling Ling. They’re perfectly flavored and ready to serve. Whatever they’re doing works!
The Ling Ling Fried Rice dishes makes a filling family lunch, before an afternoon of swimming, hiking, playing, and crafting. Or they’re great as an easy, literal out-of-the-box dinner, too.
Speaking of crafting, we were even inspired from the Ling Ling packaging design to make a quick Coffee Filter Panda Craft to play next to our fried rice bowls while we eat.
Coffee Filter Panda Craft
Supplies needed:
- 2 white coffee filter
- black paper
- medium-size googly eyes
- black marker
- large craft stick
- 1″ circle hole punch (optional)
Spread out the coffee filter. Cut 2 circles larger than your googly eyes from the black paper and glue in place for the panda’s eyes.
Glue googly eyes onto your panda craft. Also cut 2 half circles for ears and glue in those place in back of the coffee filter, as well. Using your 1″ hole punch or scissors, cut out and glue a nose, as well.
Draw a mouth with a black marker. Attach a craft stick and glue another coffee filter on back. Be sure to find more animal crafts at Our Kid Things!
