Egg Carton 4 Leaf Clovers Craft
It’s amazing what we can make with normal things that we would usually think of as trash. Like egg cartons. There are so many wonderful crafts out there using egg cartons, like the Egg Carton Dinosaurs we posted just the other day. We’ve also made an Egg Carton Sheep Face, Birds in an Egg Carton Nest, and Egg Carton Goggles. Those were fun! Now, though, we might be feeling just a wee bit lucky with this Egg Carton 4 Leaf Clovers Craft!
These Egg Carton 4 Leaf Clovers are really simple to make using a total of 3 supplies: a paper egg carton, green paint, and scissors. OK, you may also need glue to attach the stem of the clover and if you want to make it into decorative garland you’ll need a hole punch along with twine or ribbon.

Supplies needed:
- paper egg carton
- green paint
- scissors
- glue
- small hole punch
- twine or ribbon
First, cut each individual egg cup from the paper carton. Then, snip a line up each of the cup’s 4 sides. Bend to separate and form into shape. Round off some of the egg carton to make the leaves more leaf-like, if needed.
Take a piece of the excess egg carton from all the trimmings left over, snip to shape if needed, and glue on the back for the clover’s stem.
Paint it all green. Let dry completely. If using as a St. Patrick’s Day decoration, punch a hole at the top of one of the leaves. Weave through twine, ribbon, or whatever you want to use for hanging.
Because everyone could use just a wee bit more luck hanging around!
