Paper Flowers Craft
Give mom a gift of flowers this Mother’s Day that won’t wilt as soon as the day is over. This Mother’s Day Paper Flowers Craft is so beautiful and vibrant, and they’re handmade especially for mom. We have a Free Printable Vase Template, too, so it’s even easier.
We absolutely adore these beautiful flowers that jump off the page with a simple vase and stems. Kids will have fun drawing flowers for mom, then cut them out and glue onto the stem. The rest of the craft is so simple that the flowers really stand out!
We have more beautiful flower crafts for mom, also. See our Fingerprint Flower Bouquet Craft, Pop Out Handprint Flower Craft, Handprint Flowers Craft, and our Plastic Fork Tulips Craft.
For our Mother’s Day Paper Flowers Craft you will first need our Vase Template. The remainder of the supplies include colored paper, a black and green marker, a glue stick, and scissors.
Mother’s Day Paper Flowers Craft
Supplies needed:
- Vase Template
- Colored paper – pink, purple, red, yellow, etc.
- Markers – black, green
- Glue stick
- Scissors
Begin by gathering a bunch of scraps of different colored paper.
Then draw flowers in differing kinds and sizes with a black marker.
Cut the flowers out around the black marker.
Now print the vase template. We then cut ours out, traced on a scrap of heavy brown cardstock, and cut that out to use so it was easier for the kids to trace. Trace the template on the color paper of your choice.
Now use the green marker to make 5 stems. We like to start with 5 to make sure all the flowers have room.
Glue just the center of the flower to the paper.
Add a few more flowers and stems to finish the vase.
And make a few little leaves on the stems, too.
We absolutely adore this beautiful flower craft! Be sure to check out all of our Mother’s Day craft ideas at Our Kid Things!
