Paper Plate Halloween Treat Boxes
Supplies needed:
- Paper plates
- Acrylic paint – green, purple, orange
- Cardstock – black, white, brown, green
- Black marker
- Medium googly eyes
- Stapler
- Glue stick
- Scissors
Begin by painting the paper plates.
You will need to paint the plates green for Frankenstein, purple for the vampire, and orange for the jack-o-lantern. Let dry completely.

Now, make the Halloween characters. With one of the longest edges without a cut, draw your character in the middle area, between the folds.

With the black sharpie, draw jagged hair, eyebrows, mouth, and scars for Frankenstein. Also apply googly eyes.
Fold up and staple or tape into a box.
Finish Frankenstein by cutting two bolt shapes from the black cardstock. Glue to the sides of the box.
Vampire
Draw triangular hair and a mouth with the black sharpie. Apply googly eyes.
Fold up and staple or tape into a box.
Cut two small triangles from the white cardstock. Glue to the mouth for fangs.
Jack-O-Lantern
Draw a face for the jack-o-lantern with the black sharpie.
Form the paper plate into a box and staple or tape in place.
Cut a rectangle from the brown cardstock and strip of green. Curl the green. Glue to the top of the jack-lantern.
