Simple Folded Paper Owls Craft
Sometimes, the easiest crafts are some of our best. I love how our Simple Folded Paper Owls Craft is the opportunity to get creative without having to worry about a million steps!
When it comes to fall, owls are one of my favorite subjects for craft inspiration. We started off this fall season with our Simple Scrap Paper Owl Craft, and there’s our Paper Plate Owl in a Fall Tree, Aluminum Foil Owl Craft, Craft Stick Owls, and Fall Leaf Owl Craft. We love owls!
For our Simple Folded Paper Owls Craft, you will need only a few supplies. First and foremost, a square piece of colored cardstock. We used a 4 ½” inch square sheet for our owls. You don’t necessarily have to use the same size, the important thing is that it’s a square piece of paper. Other than that, the rest of the supplies consist of a 1” hole punch, glue, as well as decorative pens and markers.

Supplies needed:
- cardstock – square sheets in assorted colors
- 1” hole punch
- white paper
- black marker
- decorative pens and markers
- glue
First, make a square sheet of heavy cardstock paper if it’s not square already. Then, prepare for the folds.
Fold 3 corners inside the cardstock, meeting at the center without overlapping.
Fold the 4th, bottom corner behind the paper. This is how the owl will stand.
Punch 2 circles with the 1” hole punch. Glue on the top fold, overlapping slightly and hanging off the edges, leaving a beak tip. Draw two smaller circles with the black marker inside the white circles.
Unfold, and decorate inside the owl and the wings with pens and markers of your choice.
Refold, stand up your owls, and keep on creating!
