With the seasons changing and the holidays fast approaching, now more than ever I want to share every moment with family and friends. Thankfully, it’s so easy to do so these days with everyone connected on smartphones across numerous social channels. But you need the right phone with the right plan.
We have been so happy with the service we’ve gotten from Walmart Family Mobile. At just $39.88/month (for the first line), their Unlimited Talk, Text & Data service plan now includes up to 5GB of 4G LTE data. That’s an increase from 3GB and so much more than we were getting on a previous plan with more money.
There’s a great selection of phones to choose from, too, like the LG Leon LTE. This Android phone comes with all the bells and whistles we need now on rollback for only $69.82, making it a great way to treat your family through the holidays!
There are so many apps to keep connected, games to play, text messaging, ways to keep organized from all the upcoming hustle and bustle, and a vibrant camera that makes recording photos or video a breeze. And room for it all with all that data.
The increase in data also means we can share even more of those photos and videos this holiday season! We can take so many photos, framing so many memories, that distant relatives don’t have to miss a thing.
Autumn is definitely in the air! And we can capture every moment, like the trees changing color welcoming a change of seasons and the start of the festivities to come to that first jump in the leaves.
This tree was absolutely stunning, and a perfect representation of fall in our area of the Midwest. I didn’t want to just leave the leaves on the ground, though. So with my trusty helper and our phone, we gathered up some leaves, snapping pictures along the way. They’d be perfect for a fun Fall Leaf Owl Craft, which we’ll of course then share so all of our friends and family can see!
Fall Leaf Owl Craft
Supplies needed:
- orange, yellow, purple, brown, white, and black paper
- 2 fall leaves
- 1 inch paper punch
- scissors
First, cut your paper into shapes. I used a sheet of purple construction paper for the background. Then, cut a long oval in yellow for the body. A short oval in orange is the head, with an indent snipped for a spot for its beak. Cut two large white circles for the eyes and I then used a 1 inch paper punch to make black circles to glue in the center of the white. Cut triangle beak, ears, and wavy feet shapes in brown paper. Glue it all in place.
Then glue a leaf on either side of the owl for its wings. Don’t forget to take a picture to share!

that is an adorable craft and we have some beautiful leaves out right now. I might steal it for my preschool class.
My husband has been talking about wanting a new plan and phone. It looks like a trip to Walmart is in my future.
Nice craft and I love the Fall colors.
We also love staying connected with Walmart Family Mobile. And that leaf craft is so adorable- I pinned it to make with my kids!
Such a cute craft. My little girl loves owls, so I’ll have to show her this craft so she can make me some owls for our walls.
What a cute craft! I love that you used the leaves for the wings! I am so borrowing this idea.
Also? What a great plan from Walmart.
