Make a Scarecrow with Jumbo Craft Sticks
Supplies needed:
- Jumbo craft sticks
- Googly eyes, small
- Acrylic paint – assorted fall colors
- Cardstock – brown, fall colors
- Black pen
- Glue stick
- Scissors
Begin by cutting 4 very thin strips from the brown cardstock.
Glue the strips on the top of a jumbo craft stick.
Also cut a small rectangle to fit the craft stick from a fall colored sheet of paper. Cut a strip slightly wider than the rectangle, too. Glue the strip to the rectangle to form a hat.
Now glue the hat to the top of the craft stick, over the brown strips. Some of the brown strips should be poking out like straw.
Adhere small googly eyes.
Draw a sewn on looking mouth with the black pen.
Now paint from the head of the scarecrow down. Let dry.
And add a few cross hatch marks with the black pen.
So cute, so easy, and so fun! A great craft to make more than one!
