Fingerprint Hyacinth Craft
There’s really not much more needed to make this darling Fingerprint Hyacinth Craft than, you guessed it, those cute little fingerprints dipped in paint. Ok, you’ll also need some cardstock and maybe scissors and glue, too.
This is such a sweet, and super quick, spring flower craft. You can make your hyacinths in any color you want, we chose to go with typical purples and blues.
Paper Hyacinth Fingerprint Craft
To make our fingerprint hyacinths you will need cardstock in purples, blue, and green, paint in corresponding colors, a green marker, scissors, and a glue stick.
Fingerprint Hyacinth Craft Step by Step Directions
Begin by cutting a rectangle from your color cardstock of choice for the base of your flower.
Round the edges of the rectangle on the two ends.
Draw a line with the green marker going down the center of the cardstock.
Now, gather paint in the same color as your cardstock. If you chose purple cardstock, use purple paint, and so on. Pour some paint on a flat surface. We like to use a paper plate.
Then dip your finger in the paint and press your fingerprints going down the cardstock.
Add matching fingerprints on both sides of the green line. Let the paint dry completely.
While the paint is drying, cut a long, thin strip from green cardstock. Also cut two wispy leaf shapes.
Finally, once the paint is dry, glue the stem to the back of the flower. Add the leaves along the stem, framing the hyacinth.
Such a simple way to make a bunch of gorgeous flowers!
