Paper Loop Spring Ladybug Craft
To make our paper ladybug craft you will first need to download our free printable template. Other supplies include cardstock in black, red, and blue, a white paint marker, small googly eyes, black acrylic paint, scissors, a stapler, and glue.
Paper Ladybug Craft Step by Step Directions
Begin by downloading our ladybug template. Cut out the pieces.
Trace the large rectangle on black cardstock and cut out.
Bring the two ends together into a loop and glue to secure.
Now, draw some simple clouds on a sheet of blue cardstock with the fine tip white paint pen.
Position the loop in the center of the blue cardstock. Staple in place.
Then, trace the circle on red cardstock. Cut the circle in half.
Pour a bit of black paint. Dip your finger into the paint.
And use your finger to make spots around the red half circles. Let the paint dry completely.
While the paint is drying, cut two thin small strips from black cardstock.
Curl one of the ends with your fingers or a pencil to form antennae.
Glue the antennae in place.
Also add googly eyes. Then use the white paint pen to draw the simplest, smallest of mouths.
Finally, when the paint is dry, glue the wings at an angle directly under the mouth.
Your super cute ladybugs are now ready to fly! Straight into your hearts. Aw…
