Cotton Ball Sheep Craft
Are you ready for a super cute sheep craft? I can guarantee you will love our Cotton Ball Sheep Craft! They’re just so fluffy and delightful, making this the perfect sensory craft for Easter and spring.
While the main base of this craft involves just a paper plate and cotton balls, we have a Free Printable Cotton Ball Sheep Template for the few other pieces that need to be cut out. Super cute, super fluffy, and super easy!
Paper Plate Cotton Ball Sheep Craft
To make our cotton ball paper plate sheep craft you will first need our free printable template. The remainder of the supplies include paper plates, black cardstock, cotton balls, gray paint, medium sized googly eyes, a white paint pen, scissors, and glue.
Cotton Ball Sheep Craft Step by Step Directions
Begin by painting a paper plate gray.
Let the paint dry completely.
While the paint is drying, print the template. Cut out the pieces and trace all on black cardstock. Cut out from the black cardstock.
Glue eyes on the oval shape, about ⅓ of the way down.
Also draw a small, simple mouth with the white paint pen.
Now, when the paint is dry, spread a layer of glue inside the paper plate.
Begin gluing the cotton balls to the paper plate.
Continue until you feel your sheep is fluffy enough. On a side note, we thought our sheep was done at this point, but we later decided to add a few more cotton balls around the edge of the plate.
Then, glue the oval face shape towards the bottom of the paper plate, on top of the cotton balls.
Finally, glue the legs to the bottom of the plate.
I can’t say it enough, these sheep are so, so fluffy! We hope you have as much fun making yours as we did!
