I’ve stated that 2016 is the year I try to do better with some simple changes. No grand resolutions or promises, just an attempt at being better. And now that the kids are back in school, I vow to send them to school with a better lunch.
To make it easier to make better choices, Del Monte® will be hosting a themed “Better for You Lunchbox†booklet on 1 million packages of it’s Fruit Cups at Walmart during January and February. Inside will be $6.25 in instant coupon savings from great lunchbox brands including: Del Monte®, Pepperidge Farm®, Welch’s®, Diamond Foods, NatureSmart, Saputo®,and Musco® Olives.
Which means there’s no need for the same old peanut butter and jelly with chips. It’s time to mix it up! My kids happen to love the Pepperidge Farm® Swirl Bread, for instance. We’ve tried the Chocolate Chip and Cinnamon varieties so far, and they’ve both been a huge hit. The Del Monte® Fruit & Veggie Fusions are such a great snack option, too, and full of flavor.
Another great way to add a bit of fun to your child’s afternoon is with these You’re A-MAZE-ing! free printable cards.

Perfect as a surprise in their lunchbox, they would also make amazing Valentine’s Day cards. This printable sheet includes 4 cards, each with a different maze setup. They’re also marked with faint cut lines, as well as a small X at the side so you know exactly where to punch your hole. Slide a piece of twine through that hole to attach a pencil.
With a better lunchbox and these a-maze-ing cards, your kids are sure to be the hit of the classroom!

I want some of that swirl bread! It reminds me of the raisin bread my Grandma would always keep for us! The maze in the lunch box is just such a fun idea!
These are super cute and love the idea of it not including candy. It will be fun to pull out after they have counted their stash and do a maze.
Such a sweet lunchbox surprise and they would make great Valentine’s too! My mom always put little notes in our lunches. <3
I feel much the same way about the new year — get a renewed sense of just doing better. I believe little steps add up and I am positive that those lunches will make an impact on your kiddos. I am sure that the maze brightens their day and adding fruit to a lunchbox sounds great!
Plus, I love coupons! I will look for the booklet.
Happy new year!
I love this little maze and think I will print out one of two for myself! I bet your little ones were so excited to not only get a tasty lunch, but also a fun game to pass the time.
These are adorable! I love the idea of not giving candy and giving a treat like this instead. Not to mention those Del Monte Fruit & Veggie Infusions look yummy! I have to try them
This is too cute! I never thought of putting a puzzle or game in my kids’ lunchboxes before. I am going to have to try this. I know they would love it! Thanks!
