Butterfly Snack Bags
It’s spring and butterflies are in the air. Butterflies can also be taken along in a lunchbox with this adorable take on the classic Butterfly Snack Bags. Butterflies and snacks, it’s a winning combination! It’s a fun craft and a sweet treat.

Of course, the lunchbox is just one suggestion. Truth is, you can use these bags to snack anytime. There’s nothing complicated and you don’t need anything special, just some pipe cleaners, snack bags, and your favorite snacks.

Butterfly Snack Bags
To make these darling, and sweet, butterfly snack bags you will need snack sized ziploc bags. The ones with a white or clear closure are preferable. Other than that you just need pipe cleaners and snacks.

Butterfly Snack Bags Supplies Needed
- Snack bags
- Pipe cleaners – assorted colors
- Snacks – fruit cereal, goldfish, pretzels, cheerios
Snack Bag Butterflies Step by Step Directions
Place snacks in each snack bag. Do not overfill.

Release as much air from the bag as possible and seal the bag.

Divide the snacks in the middle (this is where the pipe cleaner will wrap around the bag.) Fold the seal of the bag over towards the back to hide it.

Wrap a pipe cleaner around the center of the bag. Twist the pipe cleaner at the top a few times.

Then, use your finger or a pencil to create the antennae for the butterfly by twisting it around.

Repeat this process for the desired amount of snacks and butterflies you will need.

Display your butterflies and then serve!
