Cotton Ball Stamping Easter Bunny Craft
To make our Easter bunnies paint project you will need cotton balls, colored poms, white acrylic paint, blue cardstock, a black marker and white paint pen, washi tape, and small googly eyes.
Stamped Easter Bunny Craft Step by Step Directions
Begin by using a white paint pen to draw two ears on the top half of a blue sheet of cardstock.
We liked starting with the ears first, as we then made the body to fit the ears.
Now, gather a few regular cotton balls. We then clasped the cotton balls in a clothespin for easier stamping. We started stamping with 3 cotton balls, but moved down to two and one as the project evolved.
Dip the cotton balls in white paint.
And begin stamping in a circular pattern under the ears. When stamping the head make sure you leave room for the body.
Continue stamping until the head is complete. Then start stamping the body. Stamp the body a bit larger than the head.
Once your bunny shape is stamped and the paint is dry, add googly eyes. As well as a small pom for the nose.
Next, draw a bunny mouth with the black marker. And add whiskers with the white paint pen.
Finish the bunny by adding a washi tape scarf across the neck area for additional cuteness.
How absolutely adorable are these bunnies? So cute and so fun!
