Watercolor Peacock Crayon Resist Craft
To make our watercolor peacocks you will need paper plates, watercolors, a white crayon, blue and yellow cardstock, small googly eyes, scissors, and a glue stick.

Crayon Resist Peacock Craft Supplies Needed
- Paper plates
- Watercolors
- White crayon
- Cardstock – blue, yellow
- Googly eyes, small
- Scissors
- Glue stick
Watercolor Peacock Craft Step by Step Directions
Begin with a full paper plate and a white crayon.

Draw circles all around the paper plate with the white crayon. You can also try to make lines or waves, anything to mimic peacock feathers. The harder you draw into the plate, the more the design will show.

Now, gather your watercolors and begin painting the paper plate with peacock-y colors. Blues, purples, deep pink, a touch of green and yellow.

Continue painting the paper plate until it’s fully colored and your design is brought out. Let the paint dry completely.

When the paint is completely dry, cut the paper plate in half. So one plate will make two peacocks.

Next, cut a rectangle from blue cardstock. Round the top. You will also need to cut a small triangle from a scrap of yellow cardstock.

Glue the blue rectangle body shape of the peacock to the bottom flat edge of the paper plate.

Lastly, add googly eyes and glue the beak in place to complete your lovely peacock craft.

You know what’s next? Use the other half of the paper plate to make another peacock!
