Handprint Bee Craft
You’ll be buzzing about this super cute Handprint Bee Craft spring kids craft! So easy to make, this bee is not only a great spring craft using those darling little handprints, but also a perfect seasonal keepsake.

You could easily pair this bee craft with a lesson on bees, too, as one of the world’s most important pollinators for food crops. Now, I have to be honest and say I’m not the world’s biggest bee fan. In fact, they rather terrify me. But even I can accept how our world needs bees.

To make this spring bee kids craft even easier, we have a Free Printable Bee Template for all the other pieces. Simply trace and cut out a handprint, then cut the pieces from the template to complete your darling spring bee craft!
Handprint Bee Spring Craft
To make our easy bee craft, you will need our bee template along with cardstock in yellow and white, black and red markers, small googly eyes, a glue stick, and scissors.

Bee Handprint Craft Supplies Needed
- Bee Template
- Cardstock – yellow, white
- Markers – black, red
- Googly eyes, small
- Glue stick
- Scissors
Spring Bee Craft Step by Step Directions
Begin by printing the bee template on white cardstock.

Cut out the pieces. The lines for the bee are already black and the white wings.

Now, trace and cut a handprint from yellow cardstock.

Next, glue the curved strip on the palm part of the handprint cutout.

Glue the rest of the strips on the finger parts of the handprint pattern.

Use scissors to trim all the excess strips from between the fingers and around the edges of the handprint.

Then, use a sharpie to draw an outline on the wings. We used white cardstock for the wings, but you can also use blue.

Glue the wing cutouts on the top of the handprint bee pattern.

Also, glue the antenna cutouts on the top side as well.

Glue googly eyes on the empty space of the palm part.

Finally, use sharpies to draw a simple mouth and blush spots to complete this adorable handprint bee.
