To make our handprint Christmas cards, you’ll first need to print our Merry Christmas card printable.

You’ll also need cardstock in green, brown, yellow, and the color background of your choice. Also, sequins, scissors, a glue stick, and liquid glue. We like using both kinds of glue, but you can always just use good ol’ Elmer’s.

Handprint Christmas Tree Card Step by Step Directions
Begin by printing the Merry Christmas card printable.

You can base your handprint tree on any color background you like. We chose blues.

Fold the cardstock in half, so it’s, you know, like a card.

Now, trace and cut out a handprint from green cardstock. Round out the wrist area of the handprint.

Also, cut a small rectangle from brown cardstock for the tree trunk.

Then, glue the trunk towards the bottom of the card.

With the fingers pointing down, glue the handprint on top of the trunk.

Next, trace and cut out a simple star shape. You can also use star stickers, if you have those handy.

To finish the Christmas card, apply spots of glue around the tree and apply sequins. We added red, green, blue, and gold sequins to sparkle up our tree.

We also added some gold sequins in different sizes to the background of the card so that it sparkles, too, like stars shining down on the lovely and rather remarkable handprint Christmas tree.
