Not only is our handprint walrus super cute to make and a great keepsake craft, but they’re incredibly easy. Like piece of cake kind of easy, which are always some of my favorite crafts, too. If we can make it in less than an hour, start to finish, then it’s a surefire win in my book. Because sometimes, we get distracted easily.

One thing among many that I love about crafting with my kids is that I get to learn about the subjects we’re crafting about. We had a long discussion on walruses, why they like the cold and how they can live in such conditions. It’s fascinating and fun and a great learning experience without even realizing it.
