Bubble Wrap Winter Trees Art Craft
We have a really quick and fun winter art craft project today! This Bubble Wrap Winter Trees Art Craft is a perfect way to make a snowy winter scene. The best part? It uses bubble wrap! And we all know just how fun bubble wrap is.
Not only is this snowy winter craft super easy and a great fun art project to do with kids on a cold and snowy afternoon, but it’s also a great way to continue learning about triangles. Make and cut simple triangles for trees in all different sizes, but they’re all triangles. Such a great way to get those three points down over winter break.
Then, comes the best part. Bubble wrap! Press the simple scene into bubble wrap painted white for a fun snowy effect. If we’re being honest, it’s almost like a blizzard. A blizzard of awesomeness!
Winter Trees Bubble Wrap Art Craft
To make our winter trees craft you will need bubble wrap, white acrylic paint with a paintbrush, cardstock in blue and green, scissors, as well as a glue stick.
Bubble Wrap Winter Craft Supplies Needed
- Bubble wrap
- White acrylic paint
- Paintbrush
- Cardstock – blue, green
- Scissors
- Glue stick
Winter Snowy Trees Craft Step by Step Directions
Begin by choosing a blue background sheet of cardstock and green cardstock for the trees.
Cut triangles from the green cardstock in different sizes.
Glue the triangles to the blue cardstock however you’d like.
Now, paint a sheet of bubble wrap with white acrylic paint. Make sure the sheet of bubble wrap and the area you’re painting is at least as big as the cardstock.
Then, press the cardstock scene into the bubble wrap. Press all areas as evenly as possible.
Carefully lift the cardstock from the bubble wrap so you don’t smear any paint.
The last and final step is simply to let your snowy trees dry completely before showing off your lovely piece of winter art.
