I don’t like to play favorites with our crafts. They’re each loved in their own way. However, I have to admit that I’m really, really happy with how these snowflakes turned out. They’re just so pretty and colorful and vibrant. But shhhh…. don’t tell the other crafts I said that.

To make our Paper Strip Watercolor Snowflake Craft you will need white cardstock, watercolor paints, scissors, and glue.
Use Watercolors to make a Gorgeous Snowflake Craft
- White cardstock
- Watercolor paint
Begin with a full sheet of white cardstock.
Paint the sheet of white cardstock with watercolors.
Make sure you cover the entire sheet with paint. Let dry.
Once dry, cut the painting into strips. Our strips were about 1/2″ wide.
Next, layer 3 of the full strips. Glue together in the center. Like an asterisk.
Now, cut some of the strips into fourths.
Glue the small pieces to the tips of the snowflake, in a V shape.
Also, glue small pieces connecting the strips toward the center of the snowflake.
So lovely! Whether you’re a fan of winter, you’ll be sure to enjoy this beautiful way to add layers of bright color to a cold day!
