Make St. Patrick’s Day Binoculars from Cardboard Rolls

St. Patrick’s Day Cardboard Roll Binoculars Craft supplies needed

To make our St. Patrick’s Day Cardboard Roll Binoculars Craft you will need 2 toilet paper size cardboard rolls, construction paper, pipe cleaners, items for decorating, a hole punch, string, a glue stick, hot glue, and scissors.

Cardboard Roll Binoculars Supplies Needed

  • Cardboard rolls
  • Construction paper – white, green, gold, etc.
  • Pipe cleaners
  • Paint pens or markers
  • Hole punch
  • String
  • Glue stick
  • Hot glue
  • Scissors

Leprechaun Lookers Step by Step Instructions

Begin with 2 toilet paper size cardboard rolls.

Wrap paper around cardboard roll and decorate.

Cut construction paper to the size of the rolls. Glue or tape in place. Decorate the rolls as desired with paint pens, markers, or cut outs from paper.

Cut pipe cleaners to size of cardboard rolls and glue around ends.

Next, cut pipe cleaners to size around both ends of the covered roll. Use hot glue to secure in place.

Use hot glue to glue the two cardboard rolls together.

And use hot glue to attach the rolls together. Press firmly until set.

Cut string for landyard.

Now, cut string, yarn, or ribbon to desired length for the lanyard.

Punch a hole on both sides of binoculars.

Use the hole punch to make a hole in the outside top of each roll.

Tie string through holes.

Tie the string through.
