This turkey craft is rather large and in charge, too, to accommodate a full 4×6 photo. I don’t know about you, but I prefer not to cut up my photos. I have and I will, but if I can keep them intact then that’s better. Plus, you can remove the photos if you so wish.

Trace and cut out two wings from same feather shape.

You will also need to trace and cut two feather shapes from brown cardstock.

Trace and cut out beak, wattle, feet, and legs.

For the remainder of the pieces, the two feet and strips for legs are orange. The beak is yellow. And the wattle is red.

Glue smaller circle on top of larger circle.

Now that we have all the pieces cut, glue the smaller head circle on top of the larger body circle.

Glue feathers in place.

Add the feathers around the head.

Glue eyes, beak, and wattle.

Glue all the face pieces in place.

Fold leg strips in accordion fold.

Then, fold the leg strips in an alternating, accordion fold.

Glue legs in place with feet.

Glue the strips to the bottom of the turkey. Glue the feet in place, too.

Glue just the outer edge of wings and glue in place over photo so the wings are holding the photo.

Finally, position a photo in the center of the turkey body. Apply glue only to the outer edge of the wings and glue in place. So the wings should be holding the photo, but not glued to the photo. What an adorable way to remember this Thanksgiving!
