Thanksgiving Turkey Photo Craft
If you’re in the mood for one more lovely Thanksgiving craft, then let me introduce you to this darling Thanksgiving Turkey Photo Craft. Not only is this a super cute Thanksgiving craft, but you can also include a favorite fall picture in the turkey’s wings, making it a fun keepsake.

We’ve included a Free Printable Turkey Template for all the pieces needed for this craft. Basically, you just need to cut them all out and glue it all together. Add a favorite fall picture and this turkey craft is complete and ready for turkey day. But don’t tell the turkey what turkey day actually is.

This turkey craft is rather large and in charge, too, to accommodate a full 4×6 photo. I don’t know about you, but I prefer not to cut up my photos. I have and I will, but if I can keep them intact then that’s better. Plus, you can remove the photos if you so wish.
Thanksgiving Photo Turkey Craft
For our turkey craft, you will first need to print our turkey template.

The rest of our supplies include cardstock in brown, red, yellows, and oranges, medium sized googly eyes, fall photos, scissors, and a glue stick.
Turkey Photo Craft Supplies Needed
- Turkey Template
- 4×6 photos
- Cardstock – brown, red, yellows, oranges, purple
- Googly eyes, medium sized
- Scissors
- Glue stick
Turkey Craft Step by Step Directions
Begin by printing the turkey template.

Trace and cut the circles on brown cardstock.

Trace and cut at least 5 feather shapes on reds, yellows, and orange cardstock. We also used purple.

You will also need to trace and cut two feather shapes from brown cardstock.

For the remainder of the pieces, the two feet and strips for legs are orange. The beak is yellow. And the wattle is red.

Now that we have all the pieces cut, glue the smaller head circle on top of the larger body circle.

Add the feathers around the head.

Glue all the face pieces in place.

Then, fold the leg strips in an alternating, accordion fold.

Glue the strips to the bottom of the turkey. Glue the feet in place, too.

Finally, position a photo in the center of the turkey body. Apply glue only to the outer edge of the wings and glue in place. So the wings should be holding the photo, but not glued to the photo. What an adorable way to remember this Thanksgiving!
