Cardboard Rainbow Craft Step by Step Instructions
Begin with a sheet of cardboard. We used an empty cereal box, tore open and turned inside out.
Now, gather paint in the rainbow of colors. I poured the paint in our palette the same as the colors go in a rainbow so that it would be easier to stamp like an actual rainbow. Insert a pom into the clasp of the clothespin for every color used.
Dip the pom in the paint colors and begin forming the rainbow.
It’s easier to start from the inside color and work your way out. But again, it’s a process so just get creative.
Layer the colors and blend together using the poms.
Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple. Then let the colors dry.
Once dry, cut the rainbow out from the cardboard.
Finish by punching a hole at the top of the rainbow and tying a strand of twine through the hole.
So beautiful to hang for a St. Patrick’s Day decoration!
This rainbow craft would make a lovely spring decoration, too!
